Graduation Speech

Today's the day the world will change for good,
From eyes that leer and watch me close, record
My fate in tomes that said "he never could,"
And I will shake my fists and strike the chord;
The chord that sings a song of strength of me
To resonate throughout the halls of waste,
The only one who follows me is she
Whose soul is sweeter than the holy taste.
You will not cage me in the halls today
Nor any other day, for now I've found
The gardens where my plants will play
And sing my song in spite of scummy sound.
They tried to chain me down, mistaking me
For one who dares not open eyes to see.
